No cookies, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting, no analytics. The only thing kept on your device is a short-lived note of your scroll position, so the back button returns you where you were. Your browser discards it when you close the tab. Fonts, images, styles and code are served from this domain, so viewing a page discloses nothing to anyone else.

The hosting provider processes technical connection data, including your IP address, in order to deliver the pages and protect the site against abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Writing to hello@michaelzorez.com means your address and whatever you write are handled as business correspondence. Legal basis: legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f), or steps prior to a contract, Article 6(1)(b), if you are enquiring about work. Correspondence is kept for as long as it is relevant to the business relationship, and where it relates to an engagement, for the period Swedish accounting law requires.

If you write from the contact page, the email it prepares includes the topic you selected and the page you came from.

Booking buttons open Calendly in a new tab. This site itself loads nothing from Calendly. Calendly's own privacy policy applies to the booking.

The newsletter is run by Substack Inc. If you subscribe, your email address is processed by Substack to send you the essays you asked for. Legal basis: consent, Article 6(1)(a). You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. Substack is based in the United States, so subscribing involves a transfer of personal data outside the EU under the safeguards set out in Substack's own terms. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own systems and never reach this site. Legal basis: performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(b). Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.

Some pages link to sites that are not mine, including wanderscout.app. Once you follow a link, the site you arrive at applies its own privacy terms.

No profiling. No automated decision-making. No advertising, no ad networks, no data sold or shared for marketing. No analytics of any kind.
